The Latina Conference is a new event focused on  Building on this legacy, we are proud to introduce the West Michigan Latina Conference, themed “Empowering Voices, Inspiring Change” This conference is designed to focus specifically on Latinas, offering a curated agenda that addresses both the professional and personal growth needs of this vibrant demographic.

The event will take place in the second week of March 2026. It is the month in which we celebrate women.

Conference Purpose

The West Michigan Latina Conference aims to:

Empower and Educate: Through keynote addresses and workshops, we provide tools for effective negotiation, leadership development, and managing cultural dynamics in professional settings. These sessions are designed to enhance career progression and skill acquisition among Latinas, empowering them to take on leadership roles and succeed in various fields.

Build Networks: The conference program includes designated networking times and interactive sessions, encouraging attendees to forge meaningful connections. These networks can evolve into

support systems, mentorship, and collaboration opportunities, all of which are vital to personal and

professional development.

Cultural and Civic Engagement: Our agenda includes discussions on public service and civic engagement, emphasizing the importance of Latinas’ involvement in these areas. By encouraging engagement in civic issues, we seek to strengthen the community’s influence on local policies and cultural narratives.

Promoting Wellbeing: Recognizing the importance of mental health and work-life integration, The conference includes a fireside chat focused on these topics. This session aims to equip attendees with strategies to maintain mental wellbeing while managing their professional and personal commitments.
