I was in my thirties when I decided to go to college and get my Bachelor’s in Business degree. I was a young mother of two children, working full time, and going to college in an accelerated adult program working on my Bachelor’s degree. Today I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a minor in Marketing, a Master’s degree, and I am currently working on the dissertation phase for obtaining my Doctorate in Organizational Development.
Raised by a strong, independent, Latina, single mother she taught me that anything is possible if I put my mind to it and to always stand up for what is right.
It is an honor to give back and lift up those around me, especially in my LatinX communities where I can relate to the barriers we face; and be an inspiration and example of an overcomer.

Tenía treinta y tantos años cuando decidí ir a la universidad y obtener mi título de Licenciatura en Negocios. Yo era una joven madre de dos hijos, trabajaba a tiempo completo y asistía a la universidad en un programa acelerado para adultos mientras trabajaba en mi licenciatura. Hoy tengo mi Licenciatura en Negocios con mención en Marketing, una Maestría y actualmente estoy trabajando en la fase de tesis para obtener mi Doctorado en Desarrollo Organizacional.
Criada por una madre soltera, latina, fuerte e independiente, ella me enseñó que todo es posible si me lo propongo y siempre defiendo lo que es correcto.
Es un honor retribuir y animar a quienes me rodean, especialmente en mi comunidad latina, donde puedo identificarme con las barreras que enfrentamos; y ser inspiración y ejemplo de vencedor.
