Paola Menvilvil originally from Mexico City, graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She currently works with GROW to be able to do what she is passionate about, helping others under the title of “Business Development Officer.”
“Business Development Officer” means that I am a counselor for people who want to start or grow their own business and need guidance through the different resources and learning opportunities to achieve their goals. Each plan is customized based on your needs and you can get technical support, education on different business related topics like management, business plan, marketing, finance, human resources and more.
I can provide advice in English and Spanish. A challenge for me to overcome was having to move away from my family business to focus on my purpose and calling, which is to help more business owners meet their goals and help them with their projects to improve. I am a responsible person and I always give my best in everything I do. That’s how my parents raised me. However, it is important to set limits and thus set aside time to dedicate to my family to have good memories and experiences with my children, that they grow up happy and loved in their home, that way I make a balance between.
MOM AND PROFESSIONAL: It is very important to take care of our physical and mental health, no matter the barriers that come our way, the important thing is perseverance, humility and asking for support to move forward with our dreams. Every day overcoming a challenge and progressing is true success.”
