Liliana Garcia immigrated to the United States at 13 and never stopped moving forward. At 14 she was already working full-time at a local restaurant while attending school. By 18 she was managing a local supermarket, and at 21 she launched her banking career while raising a child, a testament to the determination and resilience that have defined every chapter of her life.
With 21 years in the banking industry, Liliana has grown through every role, from teller and teller supervisor to banker, branch manager, general manager, and now Business Lender. Throughout her career she has taught budgeting, credit, and financial education seminars in both Spanish and English for individuals and businesses, and has helped high school students prepare for the workforce through mock interviews and career coaching for nonprofit youth programs.
As a trusted bridge between her institution and the Latino community, Liliana does more than provide financial services, she empowers people to navigate systems that can feel intimidating, opens doors to opportunity, and helps families build long-term stability and goals. She leads through one-on-one coaching, mentoring, workshops, and hands-on problem solving, always celebrating her community openly and proudly.
A proud volunteer and active member of nonprofit boards throughout West Michigan, Liliana has spent over two decades investing in the people around her with the same energy she has poured into her own career. She didn’t just climb, she pulled others up with her.
“From restaurant tables to boardroom tables | she didn’t wait for a seat at the table, she built her own.”
