“After many years of being away from my land, I realized that a place with different and authentic food, from my place of origin Durango Mexico, was needed”.
Salvia Cano tells us that this is how she made the decision to start a business and with the support of her family, the dream of seeing El Toro Bravo Restaurant and being able to share with you our delicious recipes from my mother and grandmother became a reality.
5 years have passed since El Toro Bravo opened its doors for the first time and the biggest challenge to overcome was not speaking the language of this country, but the lack of knowledge to manage my business. since for things in life I could only finish 6th grade.
Managing time as a mom and a businesswoman is a very difficult task since both require my time and dedication.Involving my three children in my company and having their great support made it easy for me to move on and up.
I know that I will never stop learning and I am very happy with my achievements despite not having a university degree. With work and dedication I have been able to be an example for my children and that fills me with pride.”
