“My first job was in the gastronomy industry and from there my love for the restaurant system was born, but it was not until 2007 that I took action and El Granjero Mexican Grill was born.” Mercedes Lopez-Duran, originally from Mexico City, tells us that since El Granjero Mexican Grill opened its doors, they’ve served 7 days a week and also offer the Catering service. In October 2022 they will be 15 years old.
“These are 15 years full of effort, sacrifice, emotions, ups and downs and above all, a lot of learning. One of the biggest challenges to overcome was not speaking English, but with the help of translators, I was able to overcome the fear of undertaking and achieve my dream El Granjero Mexican Grill.
As the owner of a restaurant I have dedicated myself to creating my own dishes to offer my clients something different and one of which I am proud of is the Molcajete.
With the support of my daughters and being able to maintain a balance between my family and my work team has helped me to give my best and made it easier for me to do both functions at the same time. MOM AND BUSINESSWOMAN
